Roche Hitachi 717 Chemistry Analyzer is a fully automated- discrete- computerized chemistry analyzer- intended for in vitro quantitative and qualitative determinations of a wide range of analytes. In addition the instrument is capable of performing potentiometric and photometric assays. The Hitachi 717 can be used for the analysis of routine/general chemistries- special chemistries and Drugs of Abuse. Additional features include ready to operate 24 hours per day- 600 tests/hr. throughput (photometric)- 750 tests/hr. throughput with ISEs (K+- Cl-- Na+)- 35 on-line tests- refrigerated storage for 64 reagent containers- sample capacity of 60 samples per tray (with multi-tray programming)- positive sample ID- non-linear data-reduction- in-process quality control analysis and packaging of over 80 test menus.
