This versatile Lab Companion SK-300 unit fulfills a variety of molecular biology- general incubation- and cell culture applications.

Selectable between orbital or reciprocating action the speed range is from 10 to 300 rpm. The SK-300 can be programmed for a Run Time from 10 seconds to 1-000 hours and Forward-Backward-Pause cycles.

The platform is 13.1 inch t; x 13.1 inch; and can be equipped with a wide range of clamps- racks and platforms.

The temperature range is 15C to 60C with uniformity of -/+1.0 at 38C.

Additional features include Microprocess PID Control- Auto-tuning and Calibration. A Digital Timer is included with a range of 1 min to 100 hours and a delayed ON/OFF.

Over-temperature Protection- Door Opening Alarm- Digital LED Display for temperature- speed- and shaking motions are all standard.

The CLS (Custom Logical Safe)

The CLS (Custom Logical Safe) - control system is a patent pending technology developed by JEIO-TECH. The result of many years of experience- driven by the desire to provide better- more reliable and safer equipment. It is designed for user comfort and confidence- easy to operate with integral safety features.

CLS- Control System thermal safety features exceed Class II protection and is safe for use in environments which require perfect thermal safety- such as labororatories with flammable substances.

The auto-tuning allows users to fine tune PID temperature control accuracy/response across a narrow range closest to a set point. The in-band function is used to recalibrate temperature measurement sensor that may "run/deviate" over a period of time. This re-calibration function feature ensures long term confidence in the accuracy of the sensor- increasingly important for ISO and GLP accredited environments.

The microprocessor PID temperature control and digital opto-electric feedback shaking control system ensures precise and reliable shaking speed and temperature providing uniform and reproducible results. LED display indicates time- shaking speed and temperature set and actual.

It is possible to set forward or reverse orbital motion reciprocating shaking motion and to stop at the same position with a timer (patent pending). It can be programmed in combination with forward/backward shaking motion- stop at the same position- temperature and time. Stop at same posisiton is patent pending. The brushless motor and anti-weight flywheel system reduces noise and vibration to neglibible levels.

There are a wide variety of accessories to fit the universal platform with 50ml ot 2000ml flask clamps (clamps sold separately)- universal attachment- spring wire rack- test tube attachment and rubber mat.
